Yonderboi - Shallow and Profound (2000)

Az akkor 19 éves ifj. Fogarasi László alias Yonderboi, a Budapesttől 250 kilométerre fekvő Mernyén, elképesztően egyszerű, mondhatnánk kezdetleges eszközökkel készítette el első albumát, a 2000-ben, természetesen nem magyar kiadónál megjelent Shallow and Profound-ot.
Érdemes meghallgatni.

A számok:

1. Intro
2. Milonga del Mar
3. Chase and Chaser
4. Cantaloupe Island (Interlude)
5. Ohne Chanteuse
6. No Answer from Petrograd
7. 100% Trevira
8. Pabadam
9. Severance
10. Sinking Slowly
11. Bodysurf
12. Riders on the Storm/Pink Solidism
13. Road Movie
14. Thousand Bells
15. Fairy of the Lake
16. Another Geometry
17. Outro

Yonderboi - Splendid Isolation (2005)

Amióta az eszem tudom, mindíg arról nyafogott mindenki, hogy a magyar beat/rock zenekarok valamiért nem tudnak betörni az angolszász "piacra".
Fogarasi Lászlónak (művészneve Yonderboi) ez mégis sikerült. Betört, hatalmas sikert aratott, ám valami miatt itthon erről nem nagyon hallani. Talán azért, mert Laci a Budapesttől 250 km-re lévő piciny falucskában, Mernyében nőtt fel, s ez valamiért a Budapest-központú médiának nem tetszik.
Szóval: van egy világszerte elismert magyar előadó, akit alig ismerünk.

Második albuma, a Splendid isolation nemzetközi siker. A Badly broken Butterflyes című száma a Miami helyszínelők betétdala lett, a Were You Thinking Of Me videoclipje pedig felkerült az MTV játszási listájára.
Kell ennél több?
A magyar rádiók azonban erről nem vesznek tudomást.

Were You thinking of Me

Az album dalai:

01. All we go to Hell
02. Amor
03. Eyes for You
04. Badly broken Butterflies
05. Follow Me Home
06. Were You thinking of Me
07. People always talk about the Weather
08. Love hides
09. Motor
10. Trains in the Night
11. Soulbitch
12. Before You snap
13. If You are victorious
