I was listening to this album tonight (Monday 12 October 2009). The music is as fresh today as it was the day I bought the vinyl double album in 1972. Not many bands have that type of musicology, however the 1970's produced the greatest music and bands of the twenieth century. Consider music playing on the radio everyday from that era: K.C and the Sunshine Band, The Commodores, Average White Band, Deep Purple, Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power, Wild Cherry, The Temps, The Ohio Players, and the list goes on. If you don't have this classic get it, if you have it get into 20 or 30 minutes of Get Ready.
